Cocktail enthusiasts + mixologists in the making, Élevé, located on top of the Grand Bohemian Hotel Charleston at 55 Wentworth St., has a new opportunity just for you — cocktail classes.

Every Thursday through Saturday from 4-5:30 p.m., Élevé will host these classes for attendees to discover the art of mixology and elevate their cocktail-making skills.

The details:

  • The class will start with a welcome toast with sparkling wine + cheese and crackers.
  • 75-90 minute experience focusing on cocktail history in Charleston, basic spirits education, basic bartending techniques, and bar education.
  • During the class, the instructor makes four classic cocktails demonstrating different spirits and lesson—the class will get a tasting-sized portion of each. Pro Tip: The cocktails chosen may be tailored to individual interests.
  • At the end of the class, attendees can make their favorite cocktail from the four samples and enjoy it.

Tickets are $109.69.

City Editor Erika here. I love the thought of considering myself a mixologist in the making. Be on the lookout for what I share after I experience the class.
