You can support the Charleston County Parks Foundation by joining its golf tournament to raise funds for current and upcoming projects.

The tournament will be held on Monday, April 8, at Charleston National Golf Club in Mount Pleasant.

Details

  • Registration and practice 8-9:30 a.m.
  • Shotgun start at 10 a.m.
  • Captains-choice tournament
  • $135 entry fee per person or $500 per team of four
  • Entry includes a round with a cart, a gift bag, breakfast, and a cocktail reception with a raffle.
  • A $10,000 hole-in-one contest

Proceeds will support projects managed by the Charleston County Parks Foundation.

Current projects

  • The Genesis Swim Safety Fund: supports aquatic safety programs in rural parts of the county.
  • The Park and Recreation Opportunity Fund: gives opportunities to those who face financial barriers when it comes to accessing parks, programs, and services.
  • The Nature Stewardship Fund: aims to preserve, protect, and manage natural resources throughout the park system.
  • The Cultural History Fund: focuses on cultural and historical research, preservation, interpretation, and education for diverse audiences.
Events
The food and drink-focused offerings will feature the hospitality group’s several properties during the Credit One Charleston Open’s duration.
The display was created exclusively for exhibition at the Aiken-Rhett House and features three artists, two of whom are Charlestonians.
