Mark your calendars for the Latin American Festival this weekend

Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the tastes and traditions of Charleston’s Latin American community.

This image shows individuals smiling at the camera at last year's Latin American Fest. One of the women is wearing a traditional outfit from one of the Latin American countries that is white and red.

All smiles at this celebratory event.

Celebrate Latin American and Caribbean cultures at the annual Latin American Festival on Sunday, Oct. 6, at Wannamaker County Park. From 12 to 5 p.m., attendees can immerse themselves in authentic food, dance, art, and music.

Dance your way through the sounds of merengue, reggaeton, bachata, and salsa music. Explore the folklore artwork + crafts that will be featured. Taste the authentic flavors of dishes like empanadas and arroz con pollo. Charleston County Public Library will present games for children and an educational area.

A bird's eye view of a previous year at the Latin American Festival. You can see people enjoying the festival and vendors.

We love all the vibrant colors.
