Google dropped the Charleston area’stop trending searches from 2022 and we’re here with the results. Spoiler alert: We like to be out and aboutin our community.

The Holy City also loves to explore our town by foot — of the four places that had walking trails as a top trending search, we googled this topic the most. Luckily for y’all, we’ve gathered this list of scenic walks and hikes around the Lowcountry.
Hopefully, you have a good rap playlist created for your stroll, because that was our most searched music genre.
More top searches included power outages (which only makes sense, given recent storms Nicole and Ian), collisionrepair (peep local car shops), and battingcages.

As we sit down to our laptops for the last time in 2022, it’s nice to reflect back on the year behind us and be thankful for all the great stories we were able to write.
