Festival of Houses and Gardens | Monday, April 3-Sunday, April 16 | Charleston Historic District | Prices vary | This annual festival is underway featuring tours and special events.

Lowcountry Strawberry Festival | Thursday, April 6-Saturday, April 8 | Boone Hall Plantation & Gardens, 1235 Long Point Rd., Mount Pleasant | $15-$25 | Attend the second weekend of this event for food, games, and rides.

Charleston Jazz Festival | Thursday, April 20-Sunday, April 23 | Locations vary | Prices vary | This celebration of jazz heritage features performances by international headliners like Dianne Reeves.

Blessing of the Fleet & Seafood Festival | Sunday, April 30 | Memorial Waterfront Park, 99 Harry M. Hallman Jr. Blvd., Mount Pleasant | Free | Celebrate the local shrimping and fishing industry with a boat parade, live music, and craft show.

Charleston Greek Festival | Friday, May 12-Sunday, May 14 | Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, 30 Race St. | $5 | The oldest festival in the Charleston area will include food, wine, live music, and dancing.

Spoleto Festival USA | Friday, May 26-Sunday, June 11 | Locations vary | Prices vary | Experience performances by world-renowned artists in opera, dance, music, and theater.

Civic

Charleston County’s Finance Committee approved $1+ million in grants to 47 small businesses as part of a pandemic relief program. The program will need to undergo further review by the county before money would be awarded. (WCSC)

Tickets are on sale now for Charleston Beer Fest, set for Saturday, Sept. 9 at Riverfront Park in North Charleston. Look forward to 50+ regional breweries, home brew competitions, beer games, and food and craft vendors.
