North Charleston celebrated the grand opening of its third senior center, The Carver Avenue Senior Center. The $6.8 million, 12,000-sqft facility features an exercise room, gym, an indoor exercise pool, pickleball courts, five activity rooms, and a coffee bar. (The Post and Courier)

Japan-based PTW, a global game development provider, opened Charleston’s first gaming services studio. The 30,000-sqft facility features “state-of-the-art amenities designed for next-gen testing and other gaming-related services.” Over the next few years, the company plans to create hundreds of jobs.
