Are you a foodie looking for some adventure? Try ditching the standard menu for a night and trading it in for a multi-course tasting menu, filled with the best dishes local chefs have to offer.

Raw Lab | $175+ per person | Enjoy dinner and a show. This Omakase-style raw bar is known for its seafood and entertaining chef.
The Charleston Grill | $150+ per person | This is a six-course experience of the chef’s selections. Wine pairings are offered for an additional cost, and the experience is limited to parties of six or fewer + requires full participation of the table.
R Kitchen | $70+ per person | You’ll never have the same experience twice. This spot recreates its menu every day and always features seasonal ingredients.
To deliver a meal just the way the chef envisioned, typically, making changes to these tasting menus isn’t possible. Pro tip: If you have dietary restrictions, call ahead.

Something delicious is cooking in John’s Island. The Kickin’ Chicken just opened its sixth location on Bees Ferry Road — and it’s ready to serve up a good time.

Think: Mouthwatering appetizers like bobby fries and buffalo chicken dip, along with crowd-pleasers like signature wraps and the fan-favorite Kickin’ Chicken sandwich.
Local 616, a downtown bar that has served the Charleston community, for 12 years is closing on Wednesday, Feb. 12. Owner Dwyane Mitchell said the decision comes as the cost to conduct business continues to rise. (The Post and Courier)
