Spicewalla Charleston, the chef-driven spice brand on John Street, closed its doors yesterday, March 2. Hurricane Helene devastated the store’s hometown of Asheville, damaged its factory, and halted production for two months. The store says it’s now focusing all of its efforts on the flagship store, but you can still order online.
Development
Trails, an outdoor classroom, and a new nature-inspired playground will soon be features you can use at Old Towne Creek County Park. Park officials say renovations are well underway, and the upgraded park will open sometime later this year or early next year. (WCBD)
