The Nickel, a new boutique hotel, has opened in the former Dixie Furniture building on King Street. The five-story 50-room hotel — inspired by the city’s history, style, and ornate ironwork — also features an interior courtyard, a library, and private event space, a cocktail bar, and a rooftop lounge.
You can find us in the corner sipping a King St. Kiss.

Now Open
Bar Daniel is now softly open to the public. Stop by the intimate space for drinks — light bites roll out today, July 23. The bar is named after Daniel Cannon, the carpenter who founded Cannonborough – the neighborhood the hotel calls home.
Locals and guests can enjoy drinks and snacks indoors at Bar Daniel or in the connecting lush interior courtyard.
