Sip, sip, hooray — There are two opportuni-teas to join a hands-on tea class at Oliver Pluff & Co.’s tea shop in downtown Charleston.
Basics of Loose Tea | Wednesday, Sept. 10 | 10:15 a.m. | $50 | Explore the history and flavor of iced tea + learn how the region where the leaves are grown impacts its characteristics. You’ll taste the three teas that make up the English breakfast blend + learn how to brew a cup using loose leaves.
Tea 4 Ways | Sunday, Sept. 14 | 12 p.m. | $50 | In this session, you’ll learn four different preparation methods: traditional iced tea, sun tea, cold brew, and hot-to-iced. Then you’ll taste each version to compare how the steeping method affects flavor.
The store is cozy and classes are limited to eight attendees, so don’t wait to register — they’ll fill up fast. Bonus: A free gift is included with the purchase of a class.
