This sunny Charleston weather has us longing for a relaxing, summertime pool day.

Several local social clubs + hotels offer day passes to their swimming pools, giving you a perfect excuse to plan a mini staycation. So — sunscreen and sunglasses in hand — let’s dip our toes into some options, shall we?

This family-friendly social club offers a couple of day pass options for its pool, open from 9 a.m. to sunset:

  • A $ 50-day pass includes access to the pool, lounge chairs, fitness center + other amenities; child day passes cost $20.
  • A $575+ pool cabana rental that includes day passes for up to 12 guests, plus a shaded poolside cabana with seating, a TV, and a ceiling fan from 11 a.m.-7 p.m.; there’s a food + beverage minimum with this one.

Downtown’s historic pink landmark hotel offers poolside cabana rentals for visitors — even if you’re not a hotel guest:

  • The $275+ shaded poolside cabana rental includes sofa seating for up to six people, towel service, and a complimentary fruit plate + bottled water.

This picturesque resort ~100 miles south of Charleston boasts three swimming pools and hot tubs, and offers many day pass options + upgrades:

  • A $ 75-day pass includes access to two family pools, an adults-only pool, beachside hot tubs, private beach access, and self-parking; passes for kids cost $45.
  • A $150 adult pool daybed includes a day pass for up to two adults.
