Would you like to see a professional sports stadium in Charleston?
Earlier this week we told you about Momentous Sports a group that could be considering Charleston as its next location for a professional sports stadium.
We asked you what you thought about the news, and the results were split; 66% of readers were for a pro stadium, and the other 34% politely declined the idea.
Reader Julia M., who was for it, said, “I think a professional sports stadium would be great for Charleston! We loved the RiverDog games, but a large sports stadium would mean we could go to a higher-level event closer to home, which would be amazing! The kids would love it!”
Momentous Sports, the recently formed group, is made up of former football stars John Elway, Tim Tebow, and Blake Bortles, plus Chick-fil-A CEO Andrew Cathy and investors. It builds stadiums with surrounding mixed-use developments.
