Sullivan’s Fish Camp is kicking off its guest chef series, Friends at the Beach, with a one-night-only dinner on Thursday, Oct. 9 where chef and partner Jason Stanhope will be joined by his longtime friend and mentor, Mike Lata.
The two worked together at FIG for 10+ years, where both chefs won James Beard Awards for Best Chef: Southeast — Lata in 2009 and Stanhope in 2015.
The dinner will feature three courses served family-style. Tickets are $125 and include gratuity on food. Wine pairings and beverages will be available for purchase.
Mount Pleasant-based TBC Development proposed building townhomes on Bees Ferry Road, with 15 of 100 townhomes reserved for households earning at or below Charleston County’s area median income. The county’s planning commission will review the plan on Monday, Oct. 13. (The Post and Courier)
