🏗️ First-year framework

A large sign made of stacked containers reads "Magnolia Landing" in bold white text, set against a wavy green, blue, and red pattern under a clear sky.
The development will include working, housing, dining, and entertainment spaces. | Photo provided by Magnolia Landing
Have you seen this sign? You may have spotted it heading down the peninsula on I-26. It marks where Magnolia Landing’s main entrance will stand on Milford Street. Fun fact: The sign is made of three recycled shipping containers and stands over 28 ft tall + painted by local design team Limelight Custom Sign Co.
The image shows a rendering of what's to come in the future develpoment of Magnolia Landing. A large dock is prominent in the foreground, and there are several buildings and structures in the backround.

The project will make a splash with its day-dock options, boat club, and watersport activities.

ICYMI: Magnolia Landing is Charleston’s largest mixed-use project, and leaders broke ground exactly a year ago tomorrow. The new community will feature parks, a marina, living spaces, office space, retail shops, restaurants, and docks. Take a closer look at what’s planned.
The photo above shows the Magnolia Landing Construction site. There's a large brown dirt plot with excavators and equipment, surrounded by lush greenery and a waterfront — you can see the Ravenel Bridge in the background.

The Magnolia Landing development will span 192 acres.

The construction of this waterfront neighborhood will involve several phases, and things started with roadwork. Though a full build-out isn’t anticipated until 2040, the area plans to welcome its first residents as soon as next year

We chatted with Clark Davis, the CEO of Highland Resources, the real estate investment firm behind the project.

Two people wear aprons, working on pottery. A partially finished clay piece sits on a turntable, surrounded by tools and sponges. The scene feels creative and focused.
