🐾 Beaches

  • Morris Island | Accessible only by boat, this island allows off-leash pups to play. If you don’t have a boat, Adventure Harbor Tours offers a dog-friendly island tour.
  • Isle of Palms Beach | Dogs can be off-leash April 1-Sept. 14 from 5-9 a.m. and Sept. 15-March 31 before 10 a.m. and after 4 p.m. Pups must be leashed at all other times.
  • Folly Beach | Dogs are not allowed on the beach from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from May 1 to Sept. 30 — at all other times they must be leashed.
    Sullivan’s Island | Summer dogs can play from May 1 to September 30 from 5 to 10 a.m. off leash and 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. on leash. In the off-season (October 1 to April 30), pets can be off-leash from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. and on-leash from 12 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Kiawah Beachwalker Park | Dogs must be leashed at all times at this park on the west end of Kiawah Island, featuring beach access, a boardwalk, and a river view.
