A taste of the Lowcountry: Chef’s Potluck returns May 18

Mark your calendar for one of Charleston’s most anticipated fundraisers — Lowcountry Local First’s 17th annual Chef’s Potluck on Sunday, May 18. Set against the scenic marsh at the Porter Room at Holy City Brewing in North Charleston, this event features over 20+ local chefs partnering with farmers, fishermen, and ranchers to highlight the freshest Lowcountry ingredients.

Guests can enjoy tastings from every chef, sip on local libations, groove to live music, and soak in the views. Tickets are all-inclusive, and kids 12 and under attend free. Families can enjoy the Petit Chefs Kids Tent and a baby goat petting session from The Goatery at Kiawah River.

Bonus: Lowcountry Local First is also inviting the community to pledge your support to Charleston’s local food system by joining its Eat Drink Local Challenge. By committing to shift $10 or more of your weekly food and beverage spending to local sources, you’ll help strengthen our community.
