Edgar Allan Poe speakeasy comes to Charleston

We’re raven about this pop-up speakeasy experience.

If you’re tired of summer and already talking about “spooky season,” this event is for you.

From Thursday, Aug. 10 through Saturday, Aug. 12, a pop-up Edgar Allan Poe speakeasy is coming to Charleston at The American Theater.

Tickets will get you access to a 90-minute cocktail experience with four Poe-themed cocktails (we’re eyeing “The Pale Blue Eye”) that you’ll sip while watching retellings of four Edgar Allan Poe stories — “The Tell-Tale Heart,” “The Raven,” “Masque of Red Death,” and “The Black Cat.”

Tickets are limited, and the pop-up will only be in town for a few nights, so you can grab tickets online now.
