We’re just a couple of weeks away from the Charleston Wine + Food Festival, happening Wednesday, March 5 through Sunday, March 9.

If you’re ready for a weekend filled with fun, food, and drinks, this festival spans several locations across Charleston and offers a variety of experiences, including in-restaurant brunches, lunches, and dinners, plus cooking classes, beverage workshops, themed events, educational excursions, and plenty of tasting opportunities.

Haven’t grabbed your ticket yet? Many events are already sold out, but don’t worry, we’re exploring some events you can still attend.

The Vinyl Party | Wednesday, March 5 | 9 p.m.–12 a.m. | Groovers Listening Bar | $85 |Kick off the festival with Ford’s Gin, top-tier cocktails, and epic tunes at this high-energy party featuring an award-winning mixologist lineup, plus a special guest DJ set from Sean Brock.

Mex 1 Tacos + Tequilas | Thursday, March 6 | 2–4 p.m. | Mex 1 Coastal Cantina | $125 | A dream team of tacos, tequila, and top talent comes together for an unforgettable meal (with plenty of margaritas, of course).

Getting to the Core of the American Cider Renaissance | Thursday, March 6 | 11 a.m.–12:15 p.m. | Mills House | $95 | This workshop offers a guided tasting of some of the country’s best ciders and a deep dive into cider’s rise in popularity and its role as one of the most sustainable beverages in the world.

Island Time | Friday, March 7 | 2–4:30 p.m. | Mount Pleasant Memorial Park | $155 | Celebrate the Caribbean’s influence on Lowcountry cuisine with bold flavors, island-inspired cocktails, and top-notch dishes.

Slow!Down: The Craft of Making Fine Wines | Saturday, March 8 | 11 a.m.–12:15 p.m. | Mills House | $125 | This event will bring together producers, restaurateurs, and importers to explore the world of Slow Wine — a movement that champions sustainable, high-quality winemaking.

Big Shrimpin’ | Sunday, March 9 | 2–4:30 p.m. | Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park | $125 | Crack some crabs, peel a few shrimp, and try some crawfish at this ultimate seafood feast, where top chefs serve up their best dishes as the Lowcountry waterways provide a stunning backdrop.

Don’t miss the Culinary Village

One of the festival’s most popular events, the Culinary Village, still has plenty of availability on Friday and Sunday, with limited availability on Saturday. Pro tip: Locals can take advantage of Sunday’s Culinary Village discount ($40 off).
