Holiday Festival of Lights | Nov. 14-Dec. 31 | 5:30-10 p.m. | $15+ | This annual event features 750+ light displays throughout James Island County Park. Explore other areas of the park to enjoy family activities, holiday shopping, and treats.

Light the Lake | Sunday, Nov. 30 | 5-7 p.m. | Colonial Lake Park | Free | Join the beloved tradition, which kicks off the holiday season full of parades, boat lights, menorah glow, and festive markets.

Holy Smokes BBQ Festival | Nov. 8 | 11 a.m.-4 p.m. | Riverfront Park | $95+ | Fill up and enjoy an unforgettable day as 50+ of the nation’s top pitmasters and chefs come together to celebrate barbecue.

Tyler Florence’s Love Letter to Charleston | Nov. 15 | 6-10 p.m. | Gabrielle | Celebrity chef Tyler Florence, for one night only, will bring the Miller & Lux experience to Charleston with a four-course dinner and thoughtfully paired wines, plus you’ll take home a signed cookbook.

Summerville Sweet Tea Half Marathon, 10K + 5K | Saturday, Nov. 8 | Summerville | Choose your distance and venture around the town of Summerville visiting running paths and neighborhoods, ending back in front of the world-famous World’s Largest Sweet Tea.

Veterans Day 5K, Fun Run + Walk | Saturday, Nov. 8 | Charleston | Enjoy a running or strolling around Hampton Park while supporting local veterans.

Edisto Beach Road Race | Saturday, Nov. 22 | Edisto Beach | Cross the finish line and enjoy a mimosa bar and awards.

Turkey Day Run & Gobble Wobble 5K | Thursday, Nov. 27 | Charleston | This is the longest-running 5k in Charleston. Registration is open until the event is sold out.
