Spring in Charleston brings warmer days, blooming gardens, and the return of one of our city’s favorite traditions: the Credit One Charleston Open.

From March 28 to April 5, the world’s top women’s tennis players are taking the court at Credit One Stadium on Daniel Island for the 2026 Credit One Charleston Open.

As Charleston’s premier professional tennis tournament and the largest women’s-only tennis event in North America, the tournament is a celebrated stop on the WTA Tour driven by Mercedes-Benz.

Did we mention it’s a four-time WTA 500 Tournament of the Year winner?

On the court, fans can expect elite competition all week long, as six Top 20 players headline the 2026 field, featuring familiar faces and exciting new talent.

Defending champion Jessica Pegula returns, joined by a strong group of fellow Americans, including:

  • Two-time Grand Slam finalist Amanda Anisimova
  • 2025 Australian Open Champion Madison Keys
  • Charleston local Emma Navarro
  • 18-year-old rising star Iva Jovic

They’re joined by Belinda Bencic, the 2025 WTA Comeback Player of the Year and former Charleston champion, with additional players still to be announced.

But the highlights don’t stop at match point. Guests can soak in the action on the court while enjoying our city’s signature hospitality, featuring:

... all in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere, making the tournament a true can’t-miss spring outing for locals and visitors alike.
