You can add a little salt and lime to your day because today is National Tequila Day. We’re sharing a few Lowcountry spots where you can raise your glass and responsibly enjoy this fun holiday.

Taco Boy, Folly Beach, downtown Charleston + Summerville | Enjoy an all-day $5 special featuring classic Casa margaritas and Skinny Casas, a curated list of tequilas, mezcals, and cristalinos + fresh-juiced craft cocktails and margaritas.

Mex 1 Coastal Cantina, West Ashley, Sullivan’s Island + Mount Pleasant | Margarita Monday will be even more fun with buy-one-get-one-free Mex 1 margaritas + free tequila samples from 5 to 7 p.m.

SOL Southwest Kitchen, Mount Pleasant and Summerville | Both locations are highlighting Komos New Anejo, Rosa, Siete Misterios Mezcal, and High Noon Grapefruit tequilas. Plus, relax with live music from Derek Crib and Hollyn Hills.

Post House Inn, Mount Pleasant | Try one of the newest drink menu items just in time for the holiday. The Pineapple Margarita features Altos tequila, pineapple, lime, light agave, and orange bitters. The bar staff are also serving Aperol Spritz, Carondelet, Airmails, and Mint Juleps.

The Longboard, Sullivan’s Island |The Wadma-Law-Breaker made Forbes’ list of “30 Cocktails To Enjoy When Celebrating National Tequila Day.” Pro tip: Add a tequila floater to this drink made with watermelon agua fresca, basil agave + orange liqueur.
