From our team

It’s 6AM somewhere — in fact, if you’re reading this at 9 a.m. local time, it’s 6 a.m. in our sister market SEAtoday. Which brings us to our main point: Did you know there are newsletters just like CHStoday across the country, providing the same need-to-know local news and events for their communities?

From sharing live music venues in Portland, OR to reporting on new developments in Greenville, SC, our company works hard to be local, everywhere. Support our mission.

🌳 New development offers large, lush lots

Charles Towne Farm, a new master-planned community in the Ashley River Historic District Corridor, is under development in Ravenel. The 3,100-acre site in Ravenel was initially zoned for a 3,500-home subdivision, but developers decided to change course and limit density.

Phase one of the neighborhood includes 16 land parcels ranging from 12 to 66 acres, with even larger parcels planned for future phases.
The photo above shows lush green fields, forests, and ponds.

The land for this neighborhood is located near Middleton Place.

Each home site gives owners space to bring their vision to life, whether that’s a custom home, a pond, buffer areas, orchards, or stables.

Built for privacy and outdoor living, community amenities include equestrian facilities with pastures and trails, a private boathouse and boat launch, a saltwater pool and fitness center, and preserved natural spaces, including freshwater ponds.

As for the next phase and full build-out, we’ll keep you posted — but one thing’s sure: luxe living is on the way.
