Charles Towne Farms to offer homes with acres of space

The Charles Towne Farms development emphasizes open green spaces, luxury living, and architectural design.

The custom-built homes will be situated on acres of land.

Charles Towne Farms, a new master-planned community in the Ashley River Historic District Corridor, will soon become home to some folks. The 3,100 acres of land in Ravenel were initially zoned for a 3,500-home subdivision, but developers decided to change course and limit density.

This image shows a detailed illustrated master plan with lakes, ponds, trails, neighborhoods, green spaces, and numbered zones across a large landscape, blending natural areas with residential communities and amenities.

Community amenities include equestrian facilities, trails, a boathouse and boat launch, a saltwater pool, fitness center, to name a few.

Phase one of the neighborhood includes 16 land parcels ranging from 12 to 66 acres, with larger parcels in the following phases.

The photo above shows lush green fields, forests, and ponds.

The land for this neighborhood is located near Middleton Place.

These homesites offer private spaces for owners to design their vision, with the opportunity to build unique homes, ponds, buffer areas, orchards, and stables. Community features and amenities include:

  • Equestrian facilities, pastures, and trails
  • Private boathouse and boat launch
  • Saltwater pool and fitness center
  • Freshwater ponds, oak groves, and quail fields

There’s no timeline on when the next phase will become available or when the full build-out will be complete.
