It’s Charleston Wine + Food (CHSWF) Week CHS — the festival which kicks off today has announced a new initiative that will aim to help CHSWF’s commitment to “becoming a driving force in the industry, nurturing talent, and creating a more inclusive and dynamic food landscape.”

The festival is creating the CHSWF Culinary + Hospitality Investment Fund to positively impact individuals and businesses in the local culinary and hospitality community.

Key Features:

  • Financial support | The fund will provide grants + financial assistance to food and beverage employees and businesses, help navigate challenges, and pursue innovative projects.
  • Mentorship programs | The fund will establish programs connecting industry veterans with aspiring entrepreneurs.
  • New events | CHSWF will bring back year-round programming ahead of its yearlong celebration to honor the festival’s 20th anniversary next year.

The festival will announce how organizations and individuals can apply for grant funds in the coming months.
