JINYA Ramen Bar to bring bold flavors to Charleston

A mixed-use community on Morrison Drive will welcome JINYA Ramen Bar in late January.

This image shows bright noodles, green onion, dried seaweed, seasoned egg, garlic chips stand out boldly in the black bowl.

We’re eyeing the Tonkotsu Black which features pork broth, green onion, garlic chips, and thin noodles.

The countdown is on. JINYA Ramen Bar, a Japanese Ramen concept, is opening on Friday, Jan. 24, at 11 a.m., in the mixed-use community on Morrison Drive. Pro tip: The first 100 guests in line will receive a free bowl of ramen.

“Guests in Charleston love bold flavors and we’re thrilled to bring them what they crave,” said Founder and CEO Tomo Takahashi. JINYA will be a Ramen experience complete with authentic toppings; the spot will also offer small plates + craft beer. We’re eyeing the pork gyoza and Yuzu Shio Delight.
