Happy National Dessert Day, Charleston friends. It’s basically mandatory that today is designated for us to indulge in our favorite sweet treats with absolutely no guilt. Remember: the word “stressed” is only “desserts” spelled backwards.

Christophe Paume, the co-owner of this chocolate shop, is a third-generation French chocolatier who makes hand-painted chocolates, truffles + chocolate sculptures.

🍰 Sugar Bakeshop | 59 1/2 Cannon St. | The bakers at this shop, which offers cakes, pies + cookies, pride themselves on being the “small batch, from scratch neighborhood bakery you know and love.”
