Fill your plate and celebrate the Lunar New Year in Charleston

Several Charleston restaurants are offering special Lunar New Year menus.

A vibrant plate with crispy egg rolls, sliced green onions, and a dipping sauce. Nearby are dumplings and a vegetable stir-fry, conveying a delicious, fresh meal.

The Lunar New Year is approaching, and although its official dates vary across Asian cultures, it’s a celebration of the start of spring and a new year on the lunisolar calendar.

Guests will receive a sealed red envelope at the end of their meal with a surprise offer redeemable in March. Prizes will range from complimentary sides, small plates, and desserts to lunch or dinner for two. We’re hoping for the grand prize, which is a two-night stay at Hotel Richemont plus dinner for two at Two Bit Club.
