Dun dun dun duuuuun. Did you read that and immediately hum these four notes?

If so, you’re in good company. Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony is without a doubt one of the most recognizable pieces of classical music, and you can hear it performed live right here in Charleston on March 7 and 8.

Fresh off their historic debut at Carnegie Hall, the Charleston Symphony is tuning up for a homecoming concert featuring an electrifying performance of this legendary piece. Under the baton of internationally acclaimed conductor JoAnn Falletta, you won’t want to miss the power and passion of one of the greatest symphonies ever written.

Did you know? As Music Director of the Buffalo Philharmonic, Falletta became the first woman to lead a major American orchestra. She’s also won several Grammys and has been described as “one of the finest conductors of her generation” by The New York Times.

Also on the program: prize-winning pianist George Li performing Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 1. (Music lovers, you’re in for a treat.)

Reserve your seat to experience the thrill of live music — tickets are going fast.
