Add this to your winter bucket list: For the first time in its 334 years, Magnolia Plantation and Gardens is lighting up with an elaborate Chinese lantern display.

Called Lights of Magnolia: Reflections of a Cultural Exchange, visitors can walk through 23 lantern displays across 11 acres of the plantation. The displays combine a mix of Chinese cultural symbols (think: dragons, pandas, + other animals) as well as Magnolia-themed imagery like peacocks, butterflies and flowers.

For over a year, organizers at Magnolia have been working with a China-based organization called the Zigong Lantern Group. The partnership is expected to continue for three years.

Lights of Magnolia is open Weds.-Sundays from 5:30-9:30 p.m., running now through March 15. Tickets can be purchased here.
