Live Oak Charleston to welcome guests on Meeting Street

The peninsula will add a new hotel to its repertoire as Live Oak Charleston is set to open its doors this spring.

Modern hotel room with a platform bed, wooden headboard, and soft lighting. A large window reveals greenery. A cozy seating area and minimalist decor enhance the serene ambiance.

The modern rooms will feature wood finishes and earthy tones inspired by nature.

A new guest is checking in on historic Meeting Street. Let us introduce you to Live Oak Charleston, the new 120-room Tribute Portfolio Hotel, a brand from Marriott featuring independent boutique properties.

Highlights include five poolside suites with private terraces, plush daybeds, and direct access to the heated outdoor pool.

Spacious, modern restaurant with wood accents, neutral tones, and pendant lighting. Rows of tables and chairs create a warm, inviting atmosphere.

We’ll take a snapper crudo for the table.

When it comes to the food, there will be options. Terra, the hotel’s signature restaurant, will offer Mediterranean cuisine. We’re eyeing the squid fideua. The restaurant is under the direction of Executive Chef Eucepe Puntriano (formerly of Marbled & Fin).

For something a little more casual, stop by Bloo Pool + Provisions, the poolside bar and lounge designed for a Nikkei-influenced menu.
