Charleston International Manufacturing Center + Colorado engineering firm Ouray are planning a $15 million investment called Hydera in Goose Creek.

Hydera — a liquid container storage and maintenance site — will be added to the industrial park. The new site will be able to store up to 900 liquid containers for chemical and food companies + will create ~15 jobs.

The number of liquid containers moving through the Port of Charleston has recently increased, and the Hydera venture is a response to this growing local need for container storage.

Charleston International Manufacturing Center is located along the Cooper River in Berkeley County. The park currently has ~125 unoccupied, contiguous acres that can be developed.

Hydera services — including cleaning and transportation — will be available early next year.
