2024 North Charleston Arts Fest poster design competition is open

The winning entry will get a slew of perks.

The City of North Charleston encourages local visual artists to participate in the 41st annual North Charleston Arts Fest Poster Design Competition.

Artists may enter works of fiber and printmaking, acrylic, oil, drawing, pastels, watercolor, and 2-D mixed media.

The winning piece will:

  • Be the official poster for the 2024 North Charleston Arts Fest next spring, beginning Wednesday, May 1-Sunday, May 5, and featured on all marketing efforts.
  • Go on display in City Hall as part of the City of North Charleston’s Public Art Collection.

The winning artist will:

  • Receive a $1000 purchase award.
  • Have a solo exhibition at the Park Circle Gallery in May.

There is no entry fee to participate, and the competition is open to SC residents ages 18 or older. Entries can be submitted online by Friday, Dec. 15; artists can enter three pieces.
