New Hope community agreement in Berkeley County

$1 million. The amount of money the Berkeley Charleston Tradeport will donate toward a community center + environmental efforts in an agreement between residents in the New Hope community, the industrial park, and the Coastal Conservation League.

The small community located in unincorporated Berkeley County (northeast of Summerville off of I-26) will be home to the Berkeley Charleston Tradeport complex developed by the Northpoint Development.

The 5 million-sqft. industrial complex will include:

  • 10 large warehouses
  • Service roads
  • Parking areas
