Charleston named a top 2022 destination by Conde Nast Traveler

Remember when Charleston was bumped from its decade-long top spot as the best small city in the country? Well, Conde Nast Traveler recently named the Holy City on its list of 22 Best Places to Go in 2022 around the globe, and we feel a little better.

Our city was recognized for its arts, culture, and food. The 2022 Spoleto Festival USA to be held May 27 through June 12 and the opening of The International African American Museum in the fall were named as two things to look forward to in the new year.

The Loutrel and The Residences at Zero George were mentioned for their beautiful design and elegance, respectively. Southern eatery Lenoir on Wentworth Street and French restaurant Brasserie La Banque on Broad were given a shoutout for their top-notch cuisine

Two other Southern destinations made the list along with Charleston. See the full list.
