North Charleston Chef Shuai Wang to compete on Bravo’s 22nd season of “Top Chef”

Chef Shuai Wang will be one of 15 chefs heading to Canada to compete for the title and the largest prize package in “Top Chef” history.

Get ready to cheer on North Charleston’s own, Chef Shuai Wang. He will head to Canada with more than a dozen other chefs to compete in season 22 of Bravo’s “Top Chef.” You may recognize Chef Wang’s name from his restaurants Jackrabbit Filly + King BBQ, or the dozens of headlines he’s been a part of over the years for winning awards for his food.

We’re not kidding around when it comes to the honors; Chef Wang was most recently named a 2025 SC Chef Ambassador. Here’s a glimpse at some of his other accolades:

Although you’ll have to wait until Thursday, March 13, to tune in to the show, you can see a sneak peek here. The show will air on Thursday nights starting at 9 p.m. Pro tip: Episodes will be available the next day on Peacock.
