The LCAA’s mission is to “Educate, inspire, and empower diverse junior, high school, and college students through formalized aviation, aeronautical, and STEM education, professional aviation training, and special events.” Since its founding in 2018, the LCAA has flown more than 700 area students and provided $60,000+ in scholarships.

Did you know? The LCAA is run entirely by volunteers and relies on funds from donors + local area partners like Boeing, LIFT Academy, and the South Carolina Aeronautics Commission.
