The #RoadTrip-worthy Columbia Food + Wine Festival is back April 26-28 after a successful (sold-out) inaugural year that brought in ~1,250 attendees – and for 2019, they’ve made it bigger + better. 5,000+ attendees are expected across all 7 events.

Here are a few of our top event picks if you’re up for an out-of-town epicurean adventure:

📆Friday, April 26

  • 4:30 p.m. | Check-in to boutique hotel Hotel Trundle (official hotel partner of CFWF), and check-out from work calls + emails. You’re there for a good time, not a long time.
  • 5 p.m. | Take a page from this local’s guide to Cola and have a drink somewhere along Main Street before dinner.
  • 7 p.m. | Launch the weekend with the Kickoff Dinner at Saluda’s, ft. a five-course meal, beer + wine and a specialty cocktail.

📆Saturday, April 27

  • 11 a.m. | Rise and shine – it’s time to Brunch at BullStreet with a five-course brunch + craft cocktail pairings on a rooftop overlooking Segra Park, home of the Columbia Fireflies.
  • 4 p.m. | This is for the true wine enthusiasts. Sommelier + owner of Lula Drake Wine Parlor will offer rare wine tastings + insights on each wine at Sips & Seminar.

📆Sunday, April 28

  • 1 p.m. | The outdoor festival opens, ft. new elements like a ‘20s-inspired Speakeasy with cocktails by Cola’s best mixologists who’ve been featured in Southern Living + Garden & Gun; expanded fine wine selection; ~50 restaurants; comfy chill area + more. Go VIP for early entry + added lounge area with a private chef.
