Take the Daniel Island ferry to downtown Charleston

We can’t wait to take our first ride on the ferry.

Have you ever thought about the different forms of water transportation we have in Charleston? One that you should keep top of mind is the Daniel Island Ferry.

The Ferry will take you to downtown Charleston from Daniel Island in 30 minutes, and it’s easy to book. All you have to do is check out its website for the schedule and purchase tickets.

If you live on Daniel Island and work downtown, this is a unique alternative to commute to work or a new way to travel to the peninsula.

If you don’t live on the Island but would like to switch up how you head downtown for drinks, dinner, or an event, try the ferry out. The Ferry can be a great way to avoid traffic and parking woes of downtown. Bonus: the boat even has a drink menu for you to sip on during your trip.

In addition to making trips downtown, Daniel Island Ferry offers a 90-minute sunset harbor cruise, charters, bachelorette parties, and catered dinners.

For a similar experience but with different locations, try Charleston Water Taxi. Its services include trips to Water Front Park, The Aquarium, Patriots Point, and the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina.
