Calling all seafood enthusiasts, sustainability advocates, and those looking to support their local community.

This Sunday, Sept. 22, you can head to Union Station to join the South Carolina Aquarium’s Good Catch Dinner, hosted by Chef Graham Calabria, of Calabria’s Fine Foods. The multicourse dinner aims to celebrate the local seafood through conversation + a woodfired meal.

In a press release, Louden Porter, the Good Catch Coordinator at the SC Aquarium, said Chef Calabria’s “dedication to sourcing and showcasing local ingredients aligns perfectly with our mission to promote sustainable seafood and support our regional fishermen.”

Event organizers say their goal is for those who attend to be able to interpret which seafood options are sustainable, increasing demand and consumption of locally sourced seafood, and providing resources to make local seafood accessible. Attendees can meet professionals who lead by example when it comes to sustainable fishing practices. Tickets are $125.
