The Wedge, 2487 Ashley River Rd. | Breakfast and Lunch Sandwiches
Lettuce celebrate, this beloved sandwich shop is expanding from its food truck to a brick-and-mortar store. You might know the sandwich shop’s chicken cutlet and a smash burger from popping up at several spots around town.

Rivayat, 210 Rutledge Ave. | Creative Indian Cuisine
The award-winning team behind Spice Palette will call 210 Rutledge Ave. home. Menu highlights include pani puri, samosas, and the chai espresso martini.

Rosemary Rose, 529 King St. | Cocktail bar
This gem is located at The Nickel, a recently opened King Street boutique hotel. The new rooftop bar will offer sweeping views of the city, wines, crafted cocktails, and Riviera-inspired small plates.

Bar Daniel, 529 King St. | Cocktail bar
Also located at The Nickel. This bar was named after Daniel Cannon, a carpenter who founded Cannonborough — the neighborhood where the hotel is located.

Jeff’s Bagel Run, 1710 Shoremeade Rd., Mt Pleasant | Bagel and coffee shop
This is the fourth Lowcountry location for the scratch bakery serving bagels, spreads, coffee, and treats.

Grit Bakery, 601 Meeting St., Ste. 160 | Bakery
Stop by this downtown shop inspired by European bakery culture for artisan breads, pastries, and coffee. We recommend the chocolate croissant. Pro tip: You can park for free in the Meeting Street Lofts garage.

Dutch Bros Coffee, 101 Angus Dr, Summerville | Drive-thru coffee and beverage shop
This viral drive-thru chain opened its first location near Berlin G Myers Parkway. You’ll find us in line for The Cocomo.

Cocobowlz, 51 George St., Ste. A | Smoothies and acai bowls
You now have a new option to order your smoothies + acai bowls. We have a feeling the Nutty Buddy is going to satisfy our sweet tooth.

Timber Pizza Co., 741 Meeting St Ste 102 | Pizza
Get a taste of the capital city in the Holy City — DC-based pizza joint. We’re eyeing the Margherita. Stop by Monday through Thursday, from 4 to 10 p.m., and Friday through Sunday, from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Dawn Patrol Coffeehouse, 608 Harbor View Rd. | Coffee shop
Owner and Charleston’s own Wyatt Morri, and the team sling coffee, beer, burritos, donuts, and lots of other tasty treats. Fun fact: The shop also features a small section for all things surfing; it’s only 15 minutes from Folly Beach, after all.

No Bull Burger Bar, 2544 Savannah Hwy | Casual American
The beloved burger spot has relocated. Stop by any day from 4 to 9 p.m. for some loaded chips and the Gambler.

Mazal, 1901 Ashley River Rd. | Israeli restaurant
Brothers Gal and Tal Alhadef are opening their new restaurant in West Ashley, taking over the former Crab Shack space. Patrons can expect falafel, shawarma, pita, and other Israeli classics.

Cane Pazzo, 1276 Yeamans Hall Rd., Hanahan | Opening Saturday, June 14 | Italian
The new concept led by local chef Mark Bolchoz will blend traditional Italian flavors with Lowcountry ingredients, with menu items like She Crab Raviolo and Corn & Pepper Risotto, alongside a rotating selection of Italian wines.

Two Bit Club, 93 Society St., Unit 101 | Opening Thursday, June 19 | Vietnamese
Calling all foodies. You’ll soon have a new spot to enjoy pho, banh mi, and spring rolls. We can’t wait to try the clams with basil oil and sliced baguette. This new spot is set to open inside the soon-to-open Hotel Richemont.

Snow Monkeys, 3297 Maybank Hwy., Ste. 302, Johns Island | French Japanese
Let us introduce you to the Johns Island restaurant serving French and Japanese flavors. You can try the ricotta gnocchi and Tokyo salad in the former Bar Copa space.

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, 415 King St. | Chocolates
The flagship store features handcrafted sweet treats, including fudge, caramel apples, and truffles. It’s open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Pelato, 1085 Morrison Dr. | Italian
The new spot calls the former Butcher & Bee space on Morrison Drive home. We can’t wait to go back for more of the chicken parmigiana and radiatori vodka. Take a peek inside.

16 Handles, 654 Hopewell Dr., Ste. 105 | Frozen yogurt
Just in time for the summer heat, this frozen treat spot opened its first Charleston location in the Point Hope community.

Jeff’s Bagel Run, 1400 Palm Blvd., Isle of Palms | Bagel shop
You can now get your scratch-boiled bagels and house-whipped cream cheese on the Isle of Palms. This follows the shop’s recent Clements Ferry Road opening. Be on the lookout for upcoming locations in West Ashley, Mt. Pleasant, and James Island.

Oliver Pluff & Company, 49 John St. | Tea
You can now get your teas, toddies, and coffees in the former Spicewalla space. Stop by Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. + Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Britt Bratt Garlic Crabs, 102 Rembert C. Dennis Blvd., Moncks Corner | Seafood
Local chef and Lowcountry native Brittney Simmons’ menu standouts include the Black Box Special with crab legs, shrimp, lobster tail, corn, eggs, and sausage. Bonus: Kids eat free spaghetti plates on Wednesdays from 5 to 8 p.m.

This spot, known for its popular 2021 pop-up at The Daily, is making a comeback. The ramen restaurant is opening in the former Jackrabbit Filly space in North Charleston.

Chef Sean Brock’s comfort food spot, known for its signature crustburger, will take over the former Hero Doughnuts space on Calhoun Street.

Bagels by Kiss, 19 Broad St. | Bagel shop
This fan favorite is expanding its operations with a new Broad Street location. City Editor Callie here; I’m pumped for another option to grab housemade bagels in the heart of downtown.

Kersey House, 117 W. Luke Ave., Summerville | French cuisine
The new French bistro also features a full-service event venue and was originally built in 1908. We’re eyeing the chicken cordon bleu sandwich and blueberry pie.

Biscuit Belly, 118 W. Richardson Ave., Summerville | Breakfast + brunch
The Kentucky-based restaurant is known for its craft biscuits.

Zachary’s Daiquiris, 460 King St. | Daiquiris + frozen drinks
This spot features 12 house-made frozen daiquiris with locally inspired names like The Folly and Rainbow Row, plus a full bar. Guests can also enjoy dips, spreads, salads, and sandwiches.

Heavy’s Barburger, 891 Island Park Dr. | Classic burger joint
The beloved burger spot’s second location is replacing the former Laura Alberts Tasteful Options. Open Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., they serve favorites like crinkle fries, chili dogs, chicken wings, margaritas, and burgers, just like their Morrison Drive spot.

Daniela’s Downtown, 132 Spring St. | Market and deli
Offerings include coffee, espresso, breakfast sandwiches, lunch items, produce, beer, wine, and sodas.

Ruby’s New York Style Bagels, 1288 Nexton Pkwy., Summerville | Bagel shop
This Lowcountry chain has been expanding its reach and now up to five locations. We’re not complaining — more French toast bagels for everyone.

Wakey Bakey Bagels, 1116 Metropolitan Ave., Summerville | Bagel shop
This new concept from fan-favorite BKeDSHoP, has expanded its brand and footprint with bagels. The new venture is in the heart of Downtown Nexton.

Rotolo’s Craft & Crust, 420 Cross Park Ln., Summerville | Pizza + Italian classics
Folks in Nexton now have a new spot to grab a bite to eat. This spot offers pizza in almost every style.
