Smokers lit, sauces ready. Home Team BBQ of Mt. Pleasant is now welcoming customers down the road from Roper Hospital.

The iconic barbecue spot opened its doors yesterday in the former home of the Rusty Rudder. Look forward to slow-smoked meats, frozen cocktails, daily specials, and an extensive bar program.

Highlights include the courtyard with picnic tables, six TVs for game day, cornhole, and a 20-ft community table where you can hang out and wait for a table or watch the game.

Take a look inside the new digs then head to 3563 N. Hwy. 17 to scope it out for yourself. Visit Wednesday through Sunday, 11-12 a.m.
