Lights, camera, back in action. Filming for Netflix’s new season of “Outer Banks” is underway. Like previous seasons, the fifth and final season is being shot around the Charleston area — you may have spotted the crew at Pitt Street Pharmacy or Shem Creek. Over the summer, cast and crew were also spotted in the Myrtle Beach area and parts of the North Carolina coast.

Ever wonder where the cast likes to eat when they’re in town? We asked them last fall at the red carpet and screening of season four and compiled their answers into a map so you can start exploring. Chase Stokes had a hard time narrowing his favorites down, mentioning The Obstinate Daughter, and Drew Starkey gave the West Ashley Waffle House some love.

The series has more than 200 million views so far, and creators Josh Pate, Jonas Pate, and Shannon Burke told Netflix’s Tudum that the best is yet to come. The three added, “Being back on set with our cast for this final round is nothing short of bittersweet and surreal. We can’t wait to show everyone what we have in store this season — it’s going to be a wild ride.” The new season is slated to premiere on Netflix in 2026.
