Big news today Mount Pleasant: Mount Pleasant Towne Centre just announced that between now and early 2020, five new tenants will be moving into the open-air shopping center. And we don’t have to wait very long – openings will begin as soon as next month.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

LUSH. Remember last week when we told you the LUSH Cosmetics on King Street closed (the company’s only location in S.C.), with a new location TBA? Well, consider it announced. The beloved suppliers of bath bombs + other self-care products is coming to 1312 Theater Drive (right next to Stella Nova Spa Salon). Plus: the new store will boast upwards of 2,000 sqft of retail space.
🗓️Scheduled opening: September

Savi Cucina + Wine Bar. This upscale Italian restaurant will feature central + coastal Italian cuisine made with local ingredients. Expect menu items like a seafood linguini + Tuscan roasted chicken, plus there will be a charcuterie and mozzarella bar. Shoutout to my fellow cheese connoisseurs. The restaurant will be owned + managed by locals Ty + Karen Raju, and will open at 1324 Theatre Drive (formerly Napa Mount Pleasant – located across from the movie theater).
🗓️Scheduled opening: December

First Watch. This daytime café will serve up breakfast, brunch + lunch inside 1236 Belk Drive (next to Sunglass Hut). The new spot will be the franchise’s first location to open in Mount Pleasant (there’s already a restaurant in Summerville).
🗓️Scheduled opening: January

Lenscrafters. The popular eye care and eyewear giant plans to open its first Mount Pleasant store at 1708 Towne Centre Way (next to Men’s Wearhouse). Their retail space is 3,295 sqft – so we’re hoping it will accommodate a wide selection of frames.
🗓️Scheduled opening: December

Peloton. You may have heard of this elaborate cardio machine before (it’s basically a stationary bike with a flat-screen T.V. equipped with a built-in personal trainer) – but this will be the company’s first store to open in South Carolina. It’s coming to 1239 Belk Drive (next to REEDS Jewelers).
🗓️Scheduled opening: October
