The Pepsi plant located at an industrial site on the upper peninsula will be converted into a retail + restaurant development space. The plant has been in operation since the 1960s along Algonquin Road.

Last year, the plant was purchased by Charlotte-based real estate investment firm White Point Partners for $8.05 million.

Here’s what’s planned for the 1.7-acre site:

  • 24,450 sqft retail space
  • 17,550 sqft food + beverage services
  • 2,500 sqft outdoor dining

Pepsi plans to move into North Charleston’s Palmetto Commerce Park but is still in its original upper peninsula location at this time.
