Holy City tickets to the traveling “Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition” will be released today at noon. It’s a life-sized + up-close-and-personal experience of 32 of the world-renowned Italian artist’s frescoes — also known as paintings.

The exhibition will invite locals into the world of Michelangelo masterpieces + allow visitors to take pictures inside the “chapel”. It will be like stepping into Vatican City without leaving the Lowcountry. The artwork will stretch from the floor to the ceiling.

  • Exhibition starts in July
  • Tickets are $20 for adults
  • Takes ~60-90 minutes to view the artwork
  • Location will be announced at a later date (will be an indoor venue)
  • All ages are welcome
  • Masks required for entry
