South Street Partners has announced its purchase of Palmetto Bluff in a joint venture with real estate manager Henderson Park the largest transaction in SC history.

South Street is the largest master-planned community developer in the Southeast. The company now owns 3 major SC communitiesPalmetto Bluff and The Cliffs — and is the owner of the residential development of Kiawah Island which includes Kiawah Island Real Estate and Kiawah Island Club.

Housing demand in these communities has skyrocketed since the pandemic — both The Cliffs + Kiawah Island experienced record-breaking home sales in 2020 and a record number of new homes have broken ground.

Palmetto Bluff (~96 miles from Charleston)

South Street acquired Palmetto Bluff in 2021 — a 20k-acre property by the Intracoastal Waterway in SC. The area has 32 miles of riverfront, Southern-style neighborhoods, and a luxury golf course. New developments will include a second golf club and Anson Village.

South Street bought Kiawah Partners, Kiawah Island Club, and Kiawah Island Real Estate in 2013. This barrier island in the Lowcountry has 10 miles of shoreline with tennis, boating + golf venues. The 2012 and 2021 PGA Championships were even held at Kiawah Island Golf Resort.
