With fall in full swing, it only feels right to begin commencing the fall rituals — and we’re here to share one of our favorite ways to cozy up + enjoy the season: a drive-in movie theater. 🎞️

Terrace Theater | 1956D Maybank Hwy.

This James Island drive-in theater has been voted Best Movie Theater by the Charleston City Paper and one of the Top 10 Attractions in South Carolina by USA Today.

🎫 Tickets

Tickets must be purchased online or in-person at the box office for $35 per car. Each car is allotted 6 guests maximum — late admissions are not permitted.

The theater will not be hosting drive-in movies this month but will return in December with all holiday-themed movies.

🥤 Concessions

Looking to sip on a drink during your film? Terrace has you covered. Offering 40 selections of beer + wine, there’s sure to be an option for everyone. Concessions can be purchased at the theater, or bring your own for a $15 charge.

☀️ Weather

Shows at Terrace Theater will play rain or shine. No refunds will be given on ticket purchases or other items.

🚗 Car tips

Gates open at 7 p.m. When you get there, pull up to the gravel lot between the laundromat + nail salon, where a staff member will verify your ticket and direct you to where you will be parked. Set your radio to 88.3 FM to listen to the movie through your car speakers. Then sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!

Pro tip: Book in advance — spaces are limited.
