The City of Charleston offers vouchers for free parking

The City of Charleston is gifting residents free two-hour parking this holiday season.

The holiday-induced hustle + bustle creates a sense of magic in our city, but a headache when it comes to parking. So if you love holiday shopping downtown but hate the hassle of finding parking — keep reading. The City of Charleston is offering a perk to make your trip worthwhile with free two-hour parking at select garages, for the rest of the year. You’ll have to print the parking voucher and use it at one of the listed garages.

Participating garages

  • Majestic Square (211 King St.)
  • East Bay / Prioleau (25 Prioleau St.)
  • Queen Street (93 Queen St.)
  • Midtown (558 King St.)
  • Visitor Center (63 Mary St.)
  • SC Aquarium (24 Calhoun St.)
  • Concord / Cumberland (1 Cumberland St.)
  • St. Philip Street (34 St. Philip St.)

Fine print: The voucher is not valid during special event rates + other exclusions may apply. The free parking offer will last through Sunday, Dec. 31. Vouchers are valid for one use and must be printed. Get your voucher.
