As you know (you couldn’t have missed it), British Airways began nonstop air service between London’s Heathrow Airport (LHR) and Charleston International Airport (CHS) in early April.

The flights are running twice a week – on Thursdays + Sundays – now through Oct. 24, and British Airways is currently offering the round trip flight plus three nights of hotel stays starting at $949.

The convenience of CHS + the state-of-the-art Boeing aircraft with smooth ride technology, seatback monitors, on-demand entertainment + better air quality (read: not as dry) makes the flight easy for a luxe long weekend trip to London.

Flights leave late on Thursday + Sunday nights from CHS (11:20 p.m. our time), arriving in London at 12:25 p.m. their time. So travelers can literally wake up in London and enjoy three full days of exploration before the return flight leaves from LHR around 5:30 p.m. UK time and lands in CHS by 9.30 p.m. EST. And since CHS is not a huge metro airport, travelers can be home and in bed by 11 p.m. 😴
