To celebrate 20 years of serving seafood and southern favorites on the Charleston Harbor, Fleet Landing has released its first cookbook.

Do it yourself. That’s exactly what Fleet Landing is giving you the chance to do with its newly released “The Fleet Landing Cookbook.” The beloved downtown restaurant known for its southern food and seafood has shared recipes highlighting the spot’s drinks, dips, dishes, and desserts.

A smiling man and woman stand closely together in a bright, modern restaurant. She wears a short-sleeved beige top, and he wears a blue embroidered shirt. Red storage bins line the background wall.

Weesie and Tradd Newton opened the restaurant in November 2004.

“We have poured our hearts into this project for over a year now, and it wouldn’t have come together without our amazing team, vendors, and partners who have helped shape the restaurant these last 20 years. The cookbook is really a tribute to them— and to the wonderful guests we’ve had the honor of serving throughout the years,” said Weesie Newton, co-owner of Fleet Landing.

Three workers behind a seafood counter prepare oysters in a bright, industrial-style restaurant. Ice displays fresh shellfish, bowls of appetizers sit on the counter, and large windows reveal waterfront cranes and blue skies outside.

The cookbook also features the resturant’s raw bar and mignonette recipes.

The cookbook features 68 recipes. Newsletter Callie here —I personally can’t wait to make the Huguenot torte.

The book isn’t just sharing recipes — it’s also diving into the history of the restaurant, which is housed in a 1940s retired naval building on the Charleston Harbor. You can get your copy online or from Buxton Books.
