Fleet Landing celebrates 20 years with the release of “The Fleet Landing Cookbook”

To celebrate 20 years of serving seafood and southern favorites on the Charleston Harbor, Fleet Landing has released its first cookbook.

Do it yourself. That’s exactly what Fleet Landing is giving you the chance to do with its newly released “The Fleet Landing Cookbook.” The beloved downtown restaurant known for its southern food and seafood has shared recipes highlighting the spot’s drinks, dips, dishes, and desserts.

Weesie and Tradd Newton opened the restaurant in November 2004.

“We have poured our hearts into this project for over a year now, and it wouldn’t have come together without our amazing team, vendors, and partners who have helped shape the restaurant these last 20 years. The cookbook is really a tribute to them— and to the wonderful guests we’ve had the honor of serving throughout the years,” said Weesie Newton, co-owner of Fleet Landing.

The cookbook also features the resturant’s raw bar and mignonette recipes.

The book isn’t just sharing recipes — it’s also diving into the history of the restaurant, which is housed in a 1940s retired naval building on the Charleston Harbor. You can get your copy online or from Buxton Books.
